3D Sculpting & Mix Medium I combines fine and digital art to create 2D and 3D projects. This hands-on crafting course allows students to understand the process from converting fine art to digital art projects. Students will explore functional and decorative projects while learning art fundamentals such as color wheels, structure, and shapes. Additionally, this course introduces students to digital 3D art using Nomad Sculpt on the iPad.
Course Objectives/Skills:
Master digital tools such as Nomad Sculpt
Develop skills in digital brushes, color theory, and graphic rendering
Learn how to create a variety of fine and digital projects (keychains, vase, and figurines)
Understand the difference between 2D and 3D art in fine and digital art
Consider construction of shapes in design
Build technical proficiency and creativity in fine and digital design
